The Coalition to Protect the Rocky Mountain Front and Montana outdoor businesses are celebrating the arrival of spring in the ‘last best place’ by hosting the fourth annual ‘Rocky Mountain Front Discovery Tour.’ 

A state-wide tour will promote the Rocky Mountain Front with stops in Great Falls on May 1st, Missoula on May 2nd, and Helena on the following day. 

Those in attendance can enter to win great outdoor gear and prizes provided by sponsoring Montana businesses:

The tour will feature Bob Marshall Wilderness outfitter Bill Cunningham and Augusta-based journalist Hal Herring

Through photos and stories these two will introduce some of the most beautiful but unprotected places along the Front to hike, horse pack, and spot wildlife.  They will also inform you about ongoing efforts to permanently protect these areas through the Rocky Mountain Front Heritage Act.
